When should I start shopping for my wedding dress?

We recommend you begin shopping for your dress 10-12 months before your wedding day. It will take approximately 6 months for your dress to arrive after it’s ordered and an additional 2-3 months for alterations. The more time you allow, the less stress you’ll have! We also suggest having the wedding venue and date booked prior to searching for your dress as it may provide additional guidance for choosing your perfect dress.

I’m short on time and need a dress now! Do you sell gowns off the rack?

Don’t fret! We have an abundant selection of gowns that are available for purchase directly from our collection (also referred to as off the rack) that you take home the day of your appointment. In addition, some designers offer a rush delivery on custom gowns, for an additional fee. *Payment in full is required for gowns purchased directly from our collection and checks are not accepted.

How do I book an appointment?

You can request an appointment directly on our site or give us a call (I know, it’s a lost art!). Please allow 48 business hours for appointment confirmation. Appointments outside of normal operating hours may be available, upon request. Fees apply. Please email us at info@tebaultbridal.com for more information.

Why do I need an appointment?

Appointments are necessary in order for us to give you our undivided attention and provide you with the best service and experience possible. After all, it’s your wedding we’re celebrating, so let’s make sure this day is all about you!

Do you accept walk-ins?

We are not able to accommodate walk-in appointments, typically, due to prior scheduled appointments. No walk-in appointments are taken on weekends. However, if you are wanting to drop in on short notice, we ask that you give us a call first to see if we have the availability. We would be happy to try and work you into our day, when possible!

Who and what should I bring with me to the appointment?

We ask that you bring no more than 4 adult guests whose opinion you value most and who understand your personal style. If you are expecting more than 4 guests, please reach out to us for special arrangements. Children under 10 are not recommended to attend.

If you already have an idea for the dress style you like, bring it! Inspiration boards from Pinterest, magazine clippings, photos, etc. can be very helpful for your bridal stylist.

What do I wear to my appointment?

A nude or light-colored strapless bra and underwear is ideal. If you plan to wear special undergarments (such as Spanx) and shoes, bring them! Underwear is a must! If you do not wear them, you will not be permitted to try on gowns. Your bridal stylist will be in and out of the dressing room to help you in and out of the gowns, so be sure you are comfortable in whatever you choose to wear.

When do I arrive?

Please arrive on time for your appointment. If you arrive early, we may be finishing up with another bride and we may not be able to assist you, until your appointment time.

If you are running late, please call us. There is a 10 minute grace period for all bridal appointments. After this time your appointment will be canceled.

Can I bring drinks and snacks?

We ask that you kindly refrain from bringing food and drinks, with the exception of water, in order to help protect the gowns.

How much do your gowns cost?

Our gowns start at $1,500 and go up to $3,000. The majority are priced around $1700-2200.

Accessories begin at $45 and veils at $149.

Will the gowns in store fit me?

That’s our goal! It’s very important to us that we carry an array of sample sizes to fit every body. We have sample sizes from 4-26 and it’s not uncommon for the gowns you try on to be too small or too big. Bridal sizes tend to run small, so be prepared to order a gown that may be larger than your regular clothing size. Regardless of the size, we want to make sure every bride feels confident, comfortable, and beautiful in their perfect dress. Gowns can be special ordered in sizes 00-32.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We take payment in full and accept all major credit cards, cash, and checks*. Please contact us to request other arrangements. All purchases must be paid in full. *We do not accept checks for the purchase of gowns directly from our collection or discounted.

What's your return policy?

All sales are final. We are unable to accept returns or exchanges.

When should I order my accessories?

We offer a large selection of bridal accessories including veils, belts/sashes, jewelry, and hair pieces. While we recommend shopping for accessories during your dress appointment, an accessory appointment can be scheduled at your convenience or when you return to pick up your dress. Seeing the dress, veil, and accessories on together will really help complete the bridal look for your special day! Some accessories are available for purchase directly from the store; however most are custom ordered. Accessories may require 8-12 weeks for delivery.

When will my dress arrive and what happens next?

Most custom order gowns take about 4-6 months to arrive. You will be emailed once your dress has been received in store and has been inspected. A 30-minute appointment will be scheduled for you to come in and try on YOUR dress. If you haven’t already, this is the perfect opportunity to check out any remaining accessories to pair with your gown to complete your bridal look.

What do I need to know about alterations?

We suggest you allow approximately 2-3 months for alterations. Nearly every dress will need to be altered in some manner: bustle, hem, shorten straps, etc. The cost of these adjustments is not included in the cost of your gown. Please budget $300 or more. Depending on the amount of work that is necessary, this estimation could double or triple. While Tebault Bridal does not offer alterations in store, we are happy to provide information to a local trusted seamstress in our and the surrounding areas.

Do you offer shipping?

Yes. Fees will vary based on location and volume of items being shipped. Please contact us at info@tebaultbridal.com for more information.
